Realistic Looking Dinosaurs—Parasaurolophus:Parasaurolophus (genus name: Parasaurolophus), also known as Parasaurolophus, Saurosaurus, Pseudosaurolophus, Spinosaurus, Pseudosaurolophus, means "lizard almost with a crown", is a member of the hadrosaurid family. A genus that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous period, about 76 to 73 million years ago. Three recognized species have been identified: the type species P. walkeri, P. tubicen, and the short-crested P. cyrtocristatus. Fossils of Parasaurolophus have been found in Alberta, New Mexico, and Utah. Parasaurolophus was a herbivorous dinosaur that could walk on two or four legs.
